2021 Volcano Relief drive - St. Vincent & the grenadines

On April 9th 2021, there was an explosive eruption of the La Soufriere stratovolcano on mainland St. Vincent at about 8:41am. An ash plume 10,000m (32,000ft) quickly spread eastward toward The Atlantic Ocean affecting neighboring islands such as St. Lucia and Barbados. Approximately 16,000 persons were asked to evacuate the areas surrounding the volcano as the country was placed under read alert the night before the eruption. Volcanologists were monitoring the volcano weeks prior to the eruption as a lava dome was constantly growing within the crater. Many humanitarian efforts immediately followed as Vincentians, organizations, and governments moved towards aiding St. Vincent in this devastating time. The country was already feeling the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the eruption made conditions mush worst for residents. St. Vincent is loved by Island Fanatics as it is our number one travel destination annually. Therefore, we quickly rallied our members and supporters via a social media campaign to collect relief supplies for those most affected in St. Vincent. Through our efforts and those of our many supporters, we collected donations enough to fill 29 barrels, which were shipped to St. Vincent a few weeks post eruption. We were blessed to have members of our team and others on the ground to help with sorting and distribution of supplies. The devastation on the ground was heart wrenching. Emotions were high as we encountered many residents in shelters and private homes as they shared their stories of fear and loss. The future for many displaced persons was uncertain.

We would like to give say a special thank you to all who contributed in our humanitarian drive in one form or another. The people of St. Vincent were very grateful for your donations. We look forward to a bright future for St. Vincent & the Grenadines as the people heal from the devastation of La Soufriere and Covid-19. We know that this land of the blessed will truly rise from the ashes like that of a Phoenix.

Yours truly,

2019 Donation - The kingstown day nursery and pre-school

According to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child 4 main themes prevail : survival, protection, development and participation.

In 2018, we donated to the Salvation Army's Home for Children in Buccament Bay, St. Vincent in our efforts to support a child’s right to basic needs and shelter.

With that said, in January 2019 we donated stationery items and toys to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines - Kingstown Day Nursery and Preschool.

The Kingstown Day Nursery and Preschool is located in Rose Place, St. Vincent and known to be one of the oldest preschools/nurseries on the island. It provides educational tools and support for children ages 4 months-4 years.

Early Childhood education is of paramount importance in any educational system to ensure adequate development. It sets the foundation for a child's progress throughout their academic career.

We, the Island Fanatics Family, have been blessed with the luxury to travel and explore various countries. Throughout our journeys we understand the importance of giving back and so we are proud about this year's charitable endeavor.

Thanks you all who supported this charitable venture. We appreciate you!

Yours truly,

Island Fanatics 3D LLC
